College Football Week 10 Schedule and Odds: Month-long Fall Feast Begins With Five Straight Days of CFB Action

College Football Week 10 Schedule and Odds: Month-long Fall Feast Begins With Five Straight Days of CFB Action

Tonight brings the reveal of the first College Football Playoff rankings of the season, but that isn’t the only thing to look forward to on the college football front tonight.

Tonight also brings the start of this week’s college football action, and it also kicks off a football feast. Over the remainder of November, there will be only two days without at least one major college football or NFL game: the 24th and the 30th.

That means that we have not one, not two, not three, but four weeks of midweek MACtion to look forward to, starting tonight with three games. If that doesn’t get you excited, you’re in the wrong place right now.

Let’s take a look at the week that will be in major college football. There may be only one game featuring two ranked teams–#12 Auburn visits #13 Texas A&M–but there a number of intriguing matchups and potential problem spots for ranked teams.

College Football Week 10 Schedule and Odds Menu

College Football Week 10 Schedule

American Athletic Conference

Cincinnati hasn’t looked great in their last two games, so a blowout of Tulsa this weekend would be a welcome result for the Bearcats and their hopes of ending up in the College Football Playoff.

Saturday, November 6

#23 SMU (7-1, 3-1 AAC) vs Memphis (4-4, 1-3 AAC), ESPNU, 12:00 p.m. ET

Temple (3-5, 1-3 AAC) vs East Carolina (4-4, 2-2 AAC), ESPN+, 3:00 p.m. ET

Tulsa (3-5, 2-2 AAC) vs #2 Cincinnati (8-0, 4-0 AAC), ESPN2, 3:30 p.m. ET

Tulane (1-7, 0-4 AAC) vs UCF (5-3, 3-2 AAC), ESPNU, 4:00 p.m. ET

#24 Houston (7-1, 4-0 AAC) vs USF (2-6, 1-3 AAC), ESPNU, 7:30 p.m. ET

ACC

The ACC’s College Football Playoff hopes could be ended this weekend in what should be a shootout in Chapel Hill. North Carolina hasn’t lived up to preseason expectations, but a win over undefeated Wake Forest would be a reminder of why the Tar Heels were so highly thought of entering the season.

Friday, November 5

Virginia Tech (4-4, 2-2 ACC) vs Boston College (4-4, 0-4 ACC), ESPN2, 7:30 p.m. ET

Saturday, November 6

#10 Wake Forest (8-0, 5-0 ACC) vs North Carolina (4-4, 3-3 ACC), ABC, 12:00 p.m. ET

Pittsburgh (6-2, 3-1 ACC) vs Duke (3-5, 0-4 ACC), ACC Network, 12:00 p.m. ET

Big 12

It will take a lot for the Big 12 to get two teams in the College Football Playoff, but all Baylor and Oklahoma State can do is win. They both have road trips to navigate this week.

Saturday, November 6

Kansas State (5-3, 2-3 Big 12) vs Kansas (1-7, 0-5 Big 12), Fox Sports 1, 12:00 p.m. ET

Big Ten

As big as Michigan State’s thrilling comeback win over archrival Michigan was, it won’t matter all that much if the Spartans trip themselves up at Purdue on Saturday. Michigan State needs to be 10-0 when they travel to Ohio State on November 20 for a matchup that will be key for the Big Ten title and College Football Playoff.

Saturday, November 6

#6 Ohio State (7-1, 5-0 Big Ten) vs Nebraska (3-6, 1-5 Big Ten), FOX, 12:00 p.m. ET

Wisconsin (5-3, 3-2 Big Ten) vs Rutgers (4-4, 1-4 Big Ten), Big Ten Network, 3:30 p.m. ET

#19 Iowa (6-2, 3-2 Big Ten) vs Northwestern (3-5, 1-4 Big Ten), 7:00 p.m. ET

Indiana (2-6, 1-5 Big Ten) vs #9 Michigan (7-1, 4-1 Big Ten), FOX, 7:30 p.m. ET

Conference USA

UTEP’s loss to FAU took some luster off of UTSA’s visit to El Paso, but it is still a huge game nonetheless with the Roadrunners eyeing a perfect season.

Mountain West

Fresno State is in the top 25 of the college football rankings once again after ending San Diego State’s undefeated season with an impressive road win over the Aztecs. Pac-12

Thanks to the below bumbling, stumbling comments by Washington coach Jimmy Lake, Oregon’s visit to Seattle has a little more spice to it. Can the Huskies make things interesting, or will the Ducks show their prowess on the field?

Friday, November 5

Utah (5-3, 4-1 Pac-12) vs Stanford (3-5, 2-4 Pac-12), Fox Sports 1, 10:30 p.m. ET

Sun Belt

We now have two ranked teams in the Sun Belt, with Louisiana joining Coastal Carolina in the top 25 in this week’s AP poll. With Appalachian State receiving votes in both major college football polls, that number could increase soon.

FBS Independents & Non-Conference Matchups

One of the more interesting college football lines this week is the total for the Army-Air Force matchup in Arlington. When Army last took the field, they put up 56 points in a losing effort against Wake Forest. The total for their rivalry showdown with the Falcons is almost three touchdowns less than that.
